Well my plans to get out and start the season in Wisconsin this coming weekend have fallen though for several reasons. So with that I am also waiting for the October 1st start in Illinois. Any way to speed up the clocks to make it get here sooner?

Well I got out this morning for a short sit and it wasnt 2 min before the deer started coming in. Had about a dozen walk by before had to get out for a football game. Mostly small bucks.

Keep at it guys. I wish I could get out in the woods. I still have some things to do before the season opens anyways. I got a ton of trail camera pictures last week. Ill post some up. The 8 point lost his velvet, I gota decide if I'm gonna shoot him or not. Gonna be a tough decison if he walks under my stand. No big bucks on camera anywhere. A couple new young bucks showed up. One is a real wide 6 pt that will be a good buck next year, then that 1 1/2 year old with the droptine came around a lot. Very small rack, but in a couple years he could be something.

I won't be hunting the opener on the 3rd, but will hunt the following weekend. Been shooting a bit and i feel pretty confident after several shots, but need to practice more. I am very excited with the way the slick tricks fly. I fell they are flying better than my field points!!! I was shooting them well out to 40 yard, but need to work on consistency....

Since we're having cooler than usual temps, I will be out Sat morning. The thing is I can only take a doe (special regs), which is fine. I have to wait until Oct 3 (regular archery season) to kill a buck.

Let's show these guys/gals D8te With Destiny ain't no joke!!
