I'll be checking my cameras again friday. I've seen some pictures popping up on the forums of bucks with hard antlers. I'm hopeing I get some pics this year of velvet hanging off thier antlers or something cool like that.
I would love some 33 degree mornings down here, we wont see weather like that untill November im sure.

Joey last couple of days here in Va have cooled off a bit. I hope we get some weather breaks early unlike last year. I will miss the opener date of OCT. 3rd because of wrestling obligations. i will be out the following weekend for a Friday evening and Saturday hunt. I have no problem maybe setting up a hunt together. I have a buddy that is on Team 30 that is a good guy, so maybe we can do some film hunts. Let me know, because once bow/muzzleloader season ends i will be all wrestling.....

I will be checking my cameras this weekend as well. Time to replace the batteries from what I noticed the last time I was out, hope there is a bit more activity than a few weeks ago. With the cooler wather there should be more.

I think I am just about ready to go. i have everything washed, all my stands are hung but one and have been shooting pretty good. trying to shoot at least 5 arrows an evening just to stay sharp!!!

Checked 2 of my trail cameras. One I forgot to change batteries in last week...soooo no pics on that one this week :/. The other I got over 600 pics. Half are coons, the other half are all the bucks I already know. Some does are also starting to show up. I've got so many 1 1/2 year old bucks I can't keep track of them. 1 has a little basket rack and what looks like a drop tine.. That will be awesome if he still has it in a couple years Found a shed too, a real long crazy looking spike.

Nice looking mount densfbs. Just now saw our team avatar for the first time. Very ironic, that's the same team avatar I had last year! We were the Rut'n Rookies, if my memory serves me right. How do I change my avatar?
