Hey guys. Been awhile since I've gotten on here. Been busy with school.

I managed to take 2 does with my muzzleloader during a 4 day antlerless only gun hunt here. I haven't gotten out much with my bow, but that will change here shortly with the rut approaching quickly.

Good luck boys

Hey guys,

Ive been getting about every other day. Haven't seen much of anything. I did jump a deer taking a walk today in my woods but I couldn't tell what it was. My mock scrape that i put in about 4 days has been getting hit every time I check it. Just waiting for a N-NW wind to hunt it.

I think most of the deer are running at night, like usual, but hopefully that starts changing here shortly. There calling for high ass winds from mostly a Southern direction for the next few days (including Halloween) which pisses me off since Halloween has always been a good day to hunt, at least for me.

Anyways, good look guys. The rut is knocking at our doorstep.

Boy Halloween doesn't disappoint again. I didn't release an arrow but I finally spotted a nice buck at 5:00pm. He looks to be either a 9 or 10 pointer. 3 1/2 year old 120" class. Real good looking buck that I wouldn't mind putting an arrow through.

This morning I saw a nice 8 pointer walk 65 yards to my West and walk South into the field and into the next block of woods.

My morning was cut short when I spotted someone illegally trapping my family's woods. I hunt about 100 yards from the road and his set couldn't have been more that 20 yards from the road. I didn't confront him because I didn't know If by some chance he had gotten permission from my great uncle and aunt, the property owners. I just received a call saying that no one does so now the second I see him again, the Warden is getting called.

Good luck to all, hopefully the deer are starting to move a little better now.
