Hey there fellows hope everyone is doing well. Went to alabama last weekend for there opening bow season. I got a good shot at a doe and brought home some good eating . Making a little jerky with her. I posted a story on the main forum page if any of you care to read also with a few pictures. Went hog hunting the morning before leaving for albama and have alittle story in the hogs forum. If you got the time and are a little interested check them out thanks and have a great time out there in the woods. Jerry oh yeah I see we are back in the lead thanks to shed WTG

Found this on my trail cam from last week. Nice young 8 point. Not exactly what I'm looking for but it's good to see'em up during the day.

Made it to the woods this evening. Busted me a lil doe and donated to the landowner as per our agreement. 27 yard shot, I thought she was at 30. Hit her a litte high but she ran 15 yards into the field and piled up.

Guess the new bow is dialed in now)))) a quick picture of the entrance area. Still gotta love those muzzy fixed3 blades. Now onto exclusive buck hunting !!!

Congrats on the doe MD. I blew it this morning fellas...could have added another 120-130" to our scorecard. I had the big 8 pt at 22 yds at 8 o'clock this morning. I had a chance to shoot but I would have been drawing my bow in the wide open and shooting between some scrub oak. I was waiting for him to walk behind a small cedar to draw and I would have had a perfectly clear broadside shot when he came out the other side. Well, he had something else in mind because he took two steps behind the cedar then bolted. I was downwind, but either he still winded me or he just knew something was up....back after 'em tonight.

Heading to the woods. I have three hunts under my belt and yet to see a buck over a forker. buddy of mine said he saw some chasing yesterday evening. How is everyone else doing?
