Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA this week. I've been hunting hard and working hard. We've been seeing some chasing and a lot of rubs and scrapes. Unfortunately I won't be able to hunt the next couple of days due to the weather. I'll be back at it on Thursday!

Hello? Anybody home?

I've been hunting as much as possible. The weather sucks! It's been in the mid-upper 70s for the last couple of days. Hopefully things will cool down some so the hunting will heat up!

Hey guys, I have been really hooked up with work and the kid and haven't been out much but I plan on getting in the field this coming weekend.

I had a little time to drive around Sunday afternoon prior to going to a family gathering and saw a 160 class 10 point a mile from where I hunt at 12:15pm. They are definately up and moving right now. I sure wish I had a camera with me, he stood off the road about 30 yards and just looked at me. That's the way it always works out.

I did get a chance to check my cameras last weekend and got a pretty nice buck 30 yards in front of one of my stands at 8am the day before Halloween. Here is a few of pics I got from last weekend:

Well guys, I got one one the morning of the 12th. Not exactly the one I've been hunting all season, but he looked good coming in. I had passed up 17 bucks up to that point, and some probably scored better. Hunted hard and I'm happy that I made a good shot, as he only went 70 yards and piled up. Grossed 124 2/8.

Awesome deer PY! I would consider myself lucky to SEE a deer like that up here in Maine!

Good job, and wtg on the short tracking job!

P.S. - Get that thing in the score thread!

Nothing much to report here. I had what I think was a couple different bucks close to me the other evening. They didn't walk until right at dark because of all the noise in the area. They never would come out of the thicket for me to see what they were.

All I saw this evening was 3 does. I came to draw on one but couldn't get a clear shot. Oh well, I'll be back at it on Wednesday.

Hey fellas...

I am still around, just havent had much time to get on here. I stuck another nanny about a week and a half ago...

I dont know what the deal is with posting bucks within a certain amount of time of shooting them, but PY's buck still isnt in the scorecard thread...?

Good luck out there guys!
