I got invited down to Pike County Illinois by one of our customers at work this year to hunt a great lease with the simple caveat I make a free will donation toward the cost of the lease (a few hundred dollars versus thousands for an outfitter). Sadly, though work got me invited, work is going to keep me from that. Looking forward to a great Minnesota season, though. I'd love to whack some nannies, however the state has cracked down and imposed a one deer limit total in most parts. When I started a five years ago, we could take up to three if we wanted so I got spoiled. So no nannies for me this year unless I can make a quick side trip somewhere.

Typing is a little tough tonight. I tried to cut my left index finger off tonight with a razor blade. I was stripping old wraps and fletching. Who needs stitches when you've got gauze and duck tape!

We're going with the same outfitter that Rob/PA used last fall. The guy is hooking us up too. We're his first set of hunters to be there this fall. We get the pick of anywhere we want to hunt. It will all be totally unpressured and he's letting us hunt for 7 full days instead of 5. Pretty sweet deal!

Yeah no joke! I made the cardinal sin though. Like an idiot, I was cutting towards myself. I know better than that.

I have no problem being the captain. If that's what ya'll want, I'm down.

As far as names, I like Booner Busters, 170" Club, or Nanny Whackers. I'm leaning towards Booner Busters.
