Well boys, tomorrow is the day. Our season here in SC opens Sept. 1st. I'm pumped! We went and checked out a new piece of property that we are going to hunt in the morning and found 3 scrapes! I thought that was a bid odd but the scrapes were near pretty heave travel trails headed from bedding to a hay field. Fingers crossed!

Thats awesome! Our season starts Sept. 12th, I was out setting trail cams and doing some last minute scouting tonight. I am pumped for my season, so I can imagine you are stoked!

I am going to miss a week of deer hunting starting the 28th of September because we are going moose hunting...my old man got drawn this year for the second time in 4 years. I will get out quite a bit though, so I am not worried.

He's a fantastic deer Darin! I hope I see one or 2 like then when I'm in ILL later this fall.

I'll keep ya'll posted on how the hunts go tomorrow. We're hunting one property in the am and a different property in the pm.

Dave, Good luck to you. Hope you find a nice big one to get us started off. I have a few good ones I'm watching, but our season is still a little over a month away yet.

Awesome buck Darin, that is one heck of a deer. What did he end up scoring, I put some numbers in my head and came up with a guess of somewhere between 170-175", I may be way off, it is a hog none-the-less.

I am envious of you guys with early seasons, we are still a month out here. I guess I will just have to chase after the dove until October rolls around.

Darin's buck scored 192" if I recall. He's a stud!

Well, I'm off to the woods. Here goes nothin!

Good luck hunting Dave. Darin the mount looks terrific. Hope you get his brother this year.
