I got all my preseason scouting done. Acorns are falling hard right now . I'm thinking I might go out opening morning by my house then heading north to my acbin for the night hunt. then it's off to CO for the Elk hunt. I have to see what the wifes wants to do. She has a shoulder problem but can still pull back the bow. Other than that I'm in the mood to let the air out of something.

Nothin good on the trail cam yet, been seeing a lot of good bucks out with I cruise though. Should be dropping velvet within the next few days, so hopefully i'll get a peek at a nice hard horned giant before too long. That'll let ya know that the season isn't far away!

Well guys, I'm going to probably be going out of communication for a while. I leave for my elk hunt tomorrow evening and still have a bunch of stuff to do inbetween...

Good Luck buddy. I off to the cabin I'm going to get my wife set up for next weekend. She can pull her bow for 1 or 2 shots so she wants to hunt opening weekend.n For me I won't start deer hunting until I get back from my elk hunt. Have a good weekend stay out of trouble.

Hey guys, good luck this year! I'm going to bail, go ahead and have an alternate assigned. Give someone else a chance to ride a horse to victory. GO HORSE!!!
