Yes congrats mohunter. It has been a while since I have had such a critter. Very fun, but now all 3 are 17+ and I get to go hunting whenever I want. 
October 27 and still have not been out with my bow once yet. Been stuck in the office doing damage control of backlogged work and stolen laptop.
However, tomorrow all that will change! It's nearing primetime, and I am headed for Schuyler County, Illinois. Will actually hunt Will County in the morning too!
Nice cool front moving in, and I even saw a couple big ones that have already fallen, photos on other IL forums.
I also got a new toy to play with, digital camcorder on clearance. Been a while since I shot video.

Hung another stand yesterday. The leaves have fallen and it is definetly deer season in Kansas. Will hit it hard in the next week or two.

I got three little ones of my own. There is nothing like it man!
I had a beautiful high racked 8 within sight Monday. Gave a few can calls and grunts and we was slowly making his way to me. The wind shifted and off he went !!!!
I am going to go at it again tomorrow. Hunting a field edge so going to try to get in early and lay down a drag line.

went out this morning and decided to hit an old stand on the edge of an overgrown pasture that i hadnt used all year. greta sign. 3 rubs and a pretty fresh scrape but no sightings. gonna try it in the afternoon.
