Wow I thought for sure I would be let go of by USPS October 1st, and have a 3 month hunting season. Was not to be. They renewed my contract and gave me a new assignment. I'll be driving around from the UP of Michigan to NE Missouri measuring facilities. I will combine some of this with hunting when I do the facilities in central Illinois.

Will start watching the weather and take off if conditions are premium.

Im here team. Been hunting a few days. No luck yet, but been seeing a lot of deer. Still holding out for the right buck.

With this cool weather things should be this year.

I got to two watch 4 bucks duking it out in the field last night. They made alot of noise crashing antlers! Two bucks were real nice, just need one of them to get close enough for a shot!

well guys my moment to shine ended early for me this morning, with a loud crash when i missed!!!! i missed a dandy 140"-150"er this morning. i misjudged the distance and it all happened so fast. i stopped short on my walk to my stand and decided to hunt our dove hunting blind for deer, well he came out at 60 yards on the other end of the field while i was in the middle of drainin the main vain and busted me, so whats he do. walk closer, it was just legal light and i had to stop him on the run. perfect broadside at 30 something and i shot right under him. my stringless peep had a lot to do with it also. it twisted so i only had a small hole to see out of in not the greatest light. i will be back after them bigguns this weekend. its very hard for me to admit this miss when i can hit a 2 inch circle at 50 yards everytime but the way i look at it is that it happens to the best of us
