Did any of you guys make it out yet? I Will be hanging stands and grabbing cameras this weekend and i will be out the first 4 or 5 days of season then i have to take a break and hit it again when i get back

I don't start here until Oct. 3.

I did check my trail cam last weekend and got a picture of this cool looking buck. I will check my cam again next weekend and finalize spots for my stands.

Then all I can do is wait.......

That is an awesome looking buck ...... I will be in Erie PA 2 weeks from this Saturday :)

i sure hope you lucky early birds are shooting some big bucks with the lack of posting that is going on

I moved a treestand yesterday and season opens today. I just like to wait a few weeks until it gets closer to halloween. That's when the big boys really start to move.

11 more days.....and counting until opening day

well here a small update. first sit in the stand last week and i saw 9 deer. only one thing was missing. ANTLERS. not a single buck. they have still been running pretty nocturnal. but its cooling down so hopefully they will start moving some more.

Rob - we are too busy preparing for the season to get on the net! I checked my cameras over the weekend and had the same problem as mohunter. Antlers. 480 pictures of does. Kind of frustrating. One of the cameras is by a doe bedding area so I wasn't too worried about that camera. I wanted to see how many different does were coming to the lick. But the other spot is a buck hot spot and I didn't have any. Oh well, I know they will be there.

I still have to wait 4 more days .

The weather has been cooling here in PA and the leaves are changing.
