Are you excited? I cannot tell.

Good luck when the time comes. I am pumped to get out this Saturday....assuming the rain holds off.

Ill be out this weekend no matter what. Now and the past few days I have been home sick but I have been feeling better. It wont stop me from getting in the woods.
Im gonna be using my ground blind and sitting all day. Its going to be a tough one but I think I can pull it off.

Those are good Pope. I like to try and get some pics while in the stand. I'll see if I can post some also.

Those are some beautiful pics of some healthy looking deer. Definitely something to look forward to.

Our deluge of rain started shortly after daybreak this morning. We are supposed to get several inches by tomorrow morning with the bulk of the rain occurring this afternoon and overnight. Hopefully it stops by tomorrow morning. My only concern then will be how I get to my favorite stand considering I typically wade across a wide, though fairly shallow (normally) creek to get there.

Well fellers A buddy of mine from KY called me on monday 10 - 05 - 09 and asked me if I would like to come to his place to try to take a Cull Buck from his farm , And i told him heck ya I would love to ! So I headed out for an afternoon hunt on that Wed. 10 - 07 Arrived at about 2:45 looked around to find a spot and about 4:00 Dissided to climb up a tree next to a Very thick grown up Power line There were a small watering hole and about 8 nice White Oaks that had for one reason or another started to drop a few nuts , At around 6:45 I heard something comming up the edge of the powerline and out steped this guy . He walked over to about 26yds of me and started picking up a few nuts for his dinner as I watched him trying to diside if he would be considered a Culler to my buddy he walked over to get a drink and at this time I had made the disition to try and put him down for the count by this time he was about 23 yds to my left , as he lowerd his head to take a drink I started my Draw setteled the pin of my Keller Sight and squeezed the trigger , Perfict D.lung He only made it 30yds before he gave up
