Right click with your computer mouse and save it to hard drive/disk. Then go into your profile and edit avatar. Upload the avatar and save.

I will give it a shot and see what I can do. Believe it or not I have never put a picture in as my avatar.

Copy this image
and save as avitar1

(check) Use Custom Avatar

either option should work , make sure u delete http//www. first if u use option #1

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/e.../captain-1.jpg

Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer
browse select avitar1 save changes

trying anything i can think of
mabie try to select a deer or turkey first as an avitar then try the picture

PABowhntr 09-01-2009 05:20 PM

I tried it and could not get it to work initially either. I believe the picture is actually in jpeg format but when it is is saved then it saves it as a gif. Huntingnet.com won't recognize the gif as a valid avatar file.

I am going to try to save it as a bitmap or jpeg and see if it changes anything.
