Ok guys here we go. BigDaddy 12t checking in, lets have everyine check in, and tell us a little somethng about yourself, and where you will be hunting this year. I will be hunting in Minnesota starting September 19th, and our season runs until Decembr 31st.

BigDaddy12t 08-18-2009 04:12 PM

Just noticed that I was on team 27 last year too! Noticed it when I looked at my avatar.

buttonbuckmaster 08-18-2009 06:48 PM

Howdy, I'll be hunting in IL. I'm on a team with Siman at BH.com, so if he kills freak daddy, I'm golden. :D

leadoperator 08-18-2009 07:22 PM

Hello everyone! just wanted to stop by and check in. A few names on this list look familiar. I'll be hunting in South Dakota unless of course Siman08/OH needs some help with freak daddy! Good luck all and im glad to be a part of this team!

Brett/IL 08-19-2009 03:53 AM

Hello everybody! I'll be hunting Southern Illinois. Season starts Oct. 1 and ends Jan 17.

triggertrav 08-19-2009 04:11 AM

Trigger checking in. Glad to see things are getting rolling. The start of the season is 'per ner here'! Pretty jacked. To start out this year i am over to ND - opens on Sept 4th at noon. Spend about a week up there for the opener and if needed, i will head back out there for the first week of Nov. Other than that i will be doing a good share of my hunting in central MN, with a possible trip to southeast MN. MN season opens the 19th of Sept.

BigDaddy12t 08-19-2009 05:09 AM

Hey Trigger, good to see another Minnesota guy on the team! Where are you at? And where will you be hunting if you come to South East Mn? I am in Austin, down by Rochester. We should have a pretty good team so fa, with 2 guys from Minnesota, one guy hunting North Dakota, 2 guys in Ill., amd one in South Dakota.

triggertrav 08-19-2009 07:08 AM

I am in central MN - Spicer? just north of Willmar. if i make it down to the SE - it will be around the spring valley area in the river bottoms.

leadoperator - where are you at in SD? i have been hunting the state for the past 5 years, but the winter did terrible things to the heard last year so we are trying ND. Was your area affected?

I'll be hunting between De Soto and Elkville, about 15 miles north of Carbondale. I am about 45 min. away from Salem.

BigDaddy12t 08-19-2009 10:55 AM

Holy horns! Those thing are huge!

Siman08/OH 08-19-2009 01:00 PM

Howdy gents,

My name is Caleb Siman, and like mentioned, me and BBM are now teammates in 2 online hunting contests. Im 19 years old and entering my 4th season bowhunting. I have killed a buck and a doe in my career, and went deer-less last year. I have put alot more planning and scouting into this season, and have also decided to film all my hunts this year with my brother (Hick442 on here).

For the last 2 years i have been chasing a couple monster bucks (hence my reasons for being deerless). I will consider myself accomplished if i put 120" on the board for us this year, but 180" isnt out of the realm of possibility (mathematically ;))

Here are the 2 main targets:

Outside of hunting, i work as a firefighter at our local department and at customer service for a local grocery store. I have been dating my girlfriend Samantha for almost 2 years now, and i am a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan.

And i will do almost anything to see the KING go down this year, even if it means breaking my 120" vow to the team :action-smiley-099:

tca126 08-19-2009 01:04 PM

TCA checking in, I will be hunting in Southwestern PA, season runs from Oct 3 til Nov 14th.

triggertrav 08-19-2009 01:15 PM

caleb - packer fan eh? no sense getting into any quarterback discussions then. just concentrate on the horns.

Siman08/OH 08-19-2009 01:22 PM

Lol i have a young pro bowl caliber QB. what more is there to say? ;)

buttonbuckmaster 08-19-2009 01:30 PM

Bucks guys, kill your bucks then we talk football!! :D

BigDaddy12t 08-19-2009 01:47 PM

Hey Caleb and Tom, great to see you guys checking in! Looks like we got a few big hitters on our team this year. Caleb, either one of those bucks would be awesome, I have never even seen one that big. I know what you mean about d throaning the King this year, I was on the winning team with him 2 or 3 years ago, and they have not showed any signs of weekness yet, but I think it is time for them to step aside.

BigDaddy12t 08-19-2009 02:13 PM

Ya, they aint no drop tine monster, but they are good bucks for around here.

Well, a little bit about me. I am 42, married, have 1 sone that is 17, he lives in North Dakota with his Mom. And 1 12 year old step son that lives with my wife and I. Been bow hunting for about 10 years on about 15 acres of private land. I have 1 buck, and a few does under my belt with the bow. I started hunting with a ML last year, and got a small doe with it. My biggest buck to date, is 2 bucks that went right around 120", both of them were with my shotgun, whch I dont use anymore. Well, that is about all for now, Good Luck this year Team!!!

sticknstringer 08-19-2009 04:26 PM

I live in Aberdeen. I hunt mostly the jim river bottom. There wasnt any winterkill around here. I've been bowhuntin over 20 yrs and theres as many deer around as i've ever seen. We're allowed to shoot up to 8 does if we want. I'll post a few pics of sum i've shot in past yrs.

BigDaddy12t 08-19-2009 06:04 PM

Okay brotha,

My season starts Spetmeber 26th, not sure if i would be sitting or not yet....

leadoperator 08-19-2009 09:12 PM

Sept. 26th here, and i will be in the tree!

Brett/IL 08-20-2009 03:53 AM

Those are some great looking deer guys!

We have been having some issues with people trespassing on our lease and stealing gear :s6:, so we did not put out cams this year. We are working hard on ending the problem and it will be GREAT to see these lowlifes prosecuted.

We have been heading out at least three times a week to glass the fields though and have been seeing some good bucks. It should be a great season!

triggertrav 08-20-2009 10:01 AM

here he is.

anything?

triggertrav 08-20-2009 10:03 AM

Got it! So what's the score/age? i have got quite the range to this point.

Rob/PA Bowyer 08-20-2009 10:12 AM

Me thinks we have a team here as a contender for most talkative. :poke:

Nice.

Hard to tell w/o seeing all the tines and MB length. I'd ballpark him in 140's???

BigDaddy12t 08-20-2009 01:33 PM

Great buck trigger! Next time I sde a pic of him, I want to see you kneeling behind him holding that rack.

Well, got my plot planted today, it is just some of that Hot Spot by Biologic. Never tried it brfore, so we will see how well it works. Was going to set my ground blind up today, but ripped the dang zipper out of it, so now I think I need a new blind. Got some more pics of spme big bucks, will post them tonight.
