Went out tonight for an evening sit, sure wish I wouldstart seeing someof those bucks that I have on my trail cam. I did finally see a bucktonight tho, he had 2 spikes that were about as long as his ears, and they both forked on the end making it the smallest 4 point I have ever seen. It was 34degreeswhen I got out of my stand, buuuurrrrrr!!!

Went out yesterday morning and smoked a doe. No pics. because I didn't have a camera with me and I can't figure out how to post pics. from my phone. She came in at 8:30 and gave me a nice 12 yd. broadside shot. She was also nice enough to go down in sight and fall on a four wheeler path. I got her home, hung her up and had her butchered by 11:00. We had the obligatory tenderloin off of the grill dinner last night. Yum!

Now I can focus on helping our team out. I am heading out this afternoon.

Good luck to all of you!

Hey guys whats new? I went out lastnight again, and didnt see a thing. I was sitting in one of those stands that you can only see about 10 - 15 yards right out in front of you. Kiind of sucks, because it is one of my favorite stands, I am tucked way back in some trees about 15 yards from the trail, and there is no way the deer can see me back in there. It is set up for more of a South wind, but the area where it is, is a better late season stand when the wind is more of a North wind. I am going out in the morning to move one of my stands to a strip of wopods overlooking the inside corner of a corn field. Other then that, not much going on, oh, we did manage to get about 2" of snow today!

2" of snow?! I wouldn't know how to act if we got snow this early in October.

I hunted last night and had a parade of does, fawns, and little bucks come by at about 15 yds. The shooting I did was with my video camera. They came out at 6:15, so I was very optimistic about seeing a good buck, but he never showed.

It will most likely be Thurs. before I can head out again.

The last for days have hunting all I have seen is a bunch of doe, the bucks seem to be hunkered down and not moving. Weather is supposed to be ugly the next few days so we'll see what happens.
