Thanks man, acctually I've only been out 2 times so far once for geese and once for ducks. So if you put it in that perspective it hasn't been to bad as of right now. I'm going in the morning when I get off of work so we'll see what happens we have a field we're hunting in where about 400 geese and 200 mallards have been sitting for the last 3 days soI hope they are still there or if they're still there when we show up I hope they come back. But we'll see what happens.
There really hasn't been that my birds around this year as of yet but the best is to come. So I've been doing alot of Muskie hunting this fall so far and that's only getting better as the water cools down.
Anyway, I hope to have about 6 ducks and 2 more geese to add to the tally after this mornings hunt and some pictures possibly but we'll see.

Thursday morning I went out like I said I was going to and ended up with 3 mallards 2 woodies and 2 canadians one of which was banded so it was a good morning. Hopefully, tomorrow morning will be just a good if not better.

There are thousands of geese in the area right now it is uncanny, and the big push of geese hasn't even started yet!! Also, with this last storm it pushed alot of divers to the area. Went out this morning and saw a couple thousand winging on the lake but nothing came close enough to get a shot at. But with the winds as strong as they were I coldn't get my lines far enough out into the lake, safely, for them to see but next time I will. Now I just hope they stick around for a while at least until I fill my deer tag then its GAME ON!!!

I cut 4 this morning and yes it was very cold. I don't know what the deal is but the spooines this year are not even looking at the decoys and are staying just far enough out so you can't take an ethical shot. I have an idea I'm going to try one of these days coming up, as long as **** don't freeze up on us.
