Marshs are mostly frozen due to a cold snap
Having to head out to big water , Lake Erie and to the feilds to get birds
Hope we get a little warm weather to thaw the marshs
But feild hunting can be fun
Tonightthe 4 of us took 8 geese and 14 ducks in 2 hours
The dogs would not even be back when we started shooting at another flock

Yeah I hear ya John. Not going to be doing much more shooting in the flooded corn fields like we were for awhile now! We had a decent last couple weeks. Shot just short of a 2 man limit on Sat. and got our 2 man Mallard limit plus a woody on Sun. morn in 20 mins...Should be good in the same spot again this weekend. Might try to get out on lake MI as well...

hey fellers finally dropped a couple this evening...
i was actually pheasant hunting and came across the ducks in some stubble... suprized the crap outta me
good thing all i shoot is steel shot and keep my plug in
got a greenhead and a susie... it snowed today talk about birds being everywhere...
