well guys i hope everyone the best of luck this season
I did score in on a nice tom last year with a score of 63
hopefully do the same again this year seen a couple of bigger birds but i shot my 1 hour into the hunt opening morning

Hey lets get this thing started. Can't wait to get out there, of course we have 6-8 inches of snow on the ground now. Watched a nice flock of gobblers the other day that I would like to get a crack at. Good luck fellow team members.

What's happening fella's? Saw a field on my way home from ice fishing with close to 50-60 birds in it. I've been so busy fishing lately almost forgot how soon opening morning begins. I wish the Wing Bonners good luck this spring.

well guys season is upon us i leave for AL. next week and am going to try my luck down there see what happens i plan on hunting with my gun first then my bow i only have 3 days of hunting so i need to make the best of it. Hell maybe if i get lucky i can get more then 1 i will be aloud a bird a day so see what happens and if i get lucky maybe a pig too.

I have about a month left to wait to hunt IL. Can't wait.

This is the first week of spring like weather we have had in months for any sustained time.

The birds should be getting fired up soon.

I got one on Saturday 3-15-08...opening day here in Alabama...I shot it with my Benelli and it scored a 62.75

Hey Hoosier, I am here. I am guiding for the IL youth hunt this weekend, then I have to wait until 4/14 to hunt myself. I was out this morning scouting and they were fired up, but now the ext forecast is for rain, rain and more rain, intellicast has rain 8 of the next 9 days. Saturday is supposed to be very nice, so we shall see if the weather guessors get one right for the youth hunt.

Hey still here youth season is the 19 and 20 of april here then the season starts the 21. Went out today and heard birds at all 6 farms I hunt. I have one young boy I am taking out again for youth season. I am so pumped to get out there. Good luck fellow team mates.

Took one of my friends sons out yesterday for youth season here in Ohio. Called in three jakes right at first light and he missed one (gun) at twenty yards but told him not to get discouraged it happens to the best of us. Hit a few other farms and seen some birds then set up in one field I know the birds like to hang out in. Stuck out my widow maker hen and B-mobile and poped up the double bull and we sat back and did some soft calling. Two hens poped out and came into the decoys checking them out then finally down in the woods I heard it GOOBLE. He poped out and saw his hens up with b-mobile and wasn't to happy. He strutted a bit then came in and atarted strutting about 15 yards from the blind next to b-mobile jumping up and knocking it clean off the stake (it was awesome) then told the boy to plow him. He got it and it was a 17 pound 10 and a half inch beard. He was very excited to say the least. Well tomorrow I get my chance can't wait.

Took second one today in Ohio and tagged out. Shot it at 36 yards with rage broadhead and stopped it in its tracks. It was 21 lbs 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs, total score 61. Man this was an awesome season. I still have a few friends to take out and try to help yet though.
