What's up fellas? Hope everyone's Easter was good. I still have a couple more weeks(April 21st) Any of you guys have any tricks up your sleeves for this year? What kind of decoys will you be using? I'm thinking about making a homemade strutter jake out of an old fan and an old jake decoy. I was snooping in on a couple other team threads and jmbuckhunter had made one and it looked really good.

I use a Carry-Lite hen and jake pair...I dont know if Im gonna use the jake though. I will probably just use the hen by herself, but we'll see how it goes;)

Guys...please forgive me..I cracked under pressure...

As I sat in the ground blind yesterday morning, bow in hand, the turks were NOT talking. So I left the bow behind and did a stalk with the shotgun. I got one (21 lbs. 7 3/8" beard), butnow its bow time. I just had to get itoutof my system:D. From nowon its bow only. The870 wont even leave the house. The season starts back up again nextSunday, and if I get another bird, itWILL be with a bow.

Congrats OK. Seen your pic over in the turkey forum... Nice bird and congrats. Now go out there and stick one with the bow!;)
