Frustration sets in.......

Trying to switch from a wrist to a thumb release is like starting all over in archery again, for me. I absolutely love the solid anchor.....but I'm as inconsistent as a pure beginner, right now.

I'm going to use this online league to guage (if any) my progress throught the time frame set forth.

To you guys who use this release.......I have a question. If my draw length is too long......will this release magnify that problem? It seems, to me, that is is.....and that mine is too long.

I have had a few issues with mine as well. It is better then me punching the trigger though. I will have a few good shots then I must be torquing my bow hand because I will be off a few shot before getting back where I need to be.

What release did you go with?

If your draw length is to long it's very hard to employ backtension if your muscles are already stretched out, if that makes sense. When I make the switch over from a wrist release I shorten up my draw about a 1/4-3/8".
