several does but none inside 50 yards, a nice 15" 3pt. He was inside 35 and wanted to die. I somehow do not think all that horn would put us over the top[8D]

slow here in wisconsin saw 2 doe opening morning and thats it been out 4 times this year weather is just not helping at all

Well, Saturday morning is it. I will be trying to fill left over tags from last year. I have one either sex tag to fill. Ill probably shoot the first deer i see as the tags expire on Tuesday. I have hunted the area for three years and I usually pass on the small ones. But with only four days to fill the tag and a busy schedule, i feel that i will just take any opportunity. If it is tiny i will let it walk for the good of our team.





This is the area i am hunting. I will be on the dunes at the funnel point where they cross to the island (actually peninsula). I have never had a sit in this spot that i did not have a shot opportunity.

well just before dark turned around and seen a 8 pointer and a 6 pointer , the 8 i might have shot but still a little small, next time out is sunday
