close to 90 degrees and 100% humidity in Ga. Saturday morning had 2 does at 35 yards but a bad angle, I knew she was about to get downwind and the game is up, first one smelled me but the second one kind of hung around. She had a slight quarter to me and was on alert, even at 32 yards I wanted no part of all the bad that could happen so I let down. She repaid me by blowing 10000000000,000000000000 times. I got down within 10 minutes to avoid buggering the area any more. No matter how anal about scent you are there is just no way to walk 400+ yards and keep scent down with those conditions.

I'm going tonight. Still not sure where these bucks are moving. I've decided to sit a small clover plot bordered by hardwoods(stream and acorns just inside) and a standing corn field on the other side- and the corn is bordered by more hardwoods.
My brother sat the edge of the corn field Saturday night and saw some young buck activity.

WOW seen 2 does , one moma and a yearling , they walked about 75 yards out for about an hour then just before dark headed to the same fence line but out of site, dark came and as i was walking a row of cut corn ,a set of eye ball running right at me , i had to yell at the doe to stop , she got less than 10 yard and stopped and waited for a second and ran to her mom they both were still in site ,i put an arrow on the knock but could not take a shot ,i could not see ,,tried to use my head lamp ,but still to dark , but it was wierd to have a doe come that close,
