Killed a doe opening night here in IL. I passed on a GORGEOUS 135" 8 pt. He was a 3 1/2 year old deer and there are much bigger deer in my woods so I elected to let him walk, even though it was DAMN tempting. All in all I saw 6 bucks and 3 does in the opening night. Going to my farm in Pike County this weekend. I will keep you updated! GL to all!

Well another warm and deer less weekend. Hunting in 75 degree weather just doesn't seem right. That moon ain't helping either.
How did the rest of you make out over the weekend?

Sorry I haven't posted lately guys. Just have a ton of real life stuff going one. Haven't been able to get out in a month but I have been seeing a ton of deer moving about. Having a crazy warm spell this week. Hitting 80 degrees. Hopefully I will get out next weekend.

No hunting for me. I have my daughter this weekend and we are going to a pumpkin patch.
Hopefully I will get some time for hunting next week.
