Went over to the hunting grounds today, deer sign EVERYWHERE. Moved a stand to an incredible spot, and took another one down.I am damn pumped up. I put the trail cam out as well, so in a few weeks I will have some pics to post hopefully... There were some good rub lines and tracks all around this new spot, I'm tellin ya there will be a big one on the ground again this year. I can feel it fellas.

Good luck with that spot DS.

Talking about trail cameras. Do you guys think they scare deer from their normal travel routes? I put a camera in a nice spot I found and there were a lot of pictures the first couple of days but then nothing. Some of the deer looked spooked in the pictures. I took it down last week and I'm hoping they return to normal.

G2,
I worried about this too, because I put this trail camera down in the hardwoods on the trail that runs up to my stand, I am sorta worried but I have had pictures of a mature buck where he wasnt bothered at all. He stayed around long enough for me to get 8 or more pics of him on the trail cam. He was not spooked at all. I hope it doesnt scare anything off... becasue its right in my new spot haha...
