Season starts Oct.1 here....U can bet that I'm ready, in 05 I shot the 170" 12 on the second day of season, I'm hoping to catch them on the summer pattern, I have some great stand locations, I'll keep you updated

Rained out from scouting and moving stands this weekend, planning on it next weekend now... crops are lookin good, but becasue of heavy rains over the summer, they will be delayed getting out...kinda disappointing, but Ive got some great lookin alfalfa and clover fields that I'm gonna hit up beginning of the season.

Rained out.geez just the opposite here. we finally got rain this weeknd and the past few days. we have been very dry here.

Well I made it back from Chicago& a week of rain.[:@]
The bad weather followed me home and trashed my house last night.No real damage just a big mess.
I see you guys haven't launched us into the lead during my absence,
I just hope some of my stands are still in standing trees.

Tony I got home @ 5;00 last night after a week in Chicago just in time for the storm to hit.

I'll work on my priorities.

Went out this morning and was dripping wet by the time I got settled into my stand. Temps hit around 80 by 10am. Saw 2 momma doe, 2 yearlings and 1 with spots but no bucks. I had a Falcon land on a branch about 8 feet from me. That was pretty cool and just reminded me of the many reasons I like to go hunting besides actually shooting anything. I'm heading out to Ft. Meade tomorrow and trying a new spot. I will keep you guys updated on my luck.

I haven't heard anything from my friend about the avatar and I wasn't at work today. I will talk to him on Wednesday.
