Well, I went back to the same spot on Friday. I saw a small buck but never could get a good look at his antlers. Then I saw two does. Not sure when I'll get back out there.....

Good Luck,
Waid

OK guys im still alive I have hunted HARD for the last 19 days. I had a goal to hold out for Mr big this season. I have had three p&y bucks within range and never got to send an arrow on any of them. there was always something that did not allow a shot one was a huge 160 buck I have passed more 85-105" bucks than i care to mention. thet were everywhere this season. Im still toting my bow amoungst the orange army. it aint over yet till the fat lady sings.

Hi all, My bow season was rough this year. I saw 1 doe from my stands. rifle season is on right now in Wis. Later this month bow will reopen. I am going to give it a try. I think some of my best hunting is yet to come. Good luck all and happy Thanksgiving.

finnally made it out to the trees with the bow. turns out that the weathermen/women can be right from time to time. it was forcasted to be windy and by heck it was. did see a good number of does and fawns but nothing terribly close. also saw a big black lab running thru the cattails chasing deer out. it is the same one that i have seen a couple years now. hopefully will make it out a couple times this weekend.

good luck all.

Hey gusy, I went out as many times as I possibly could, but no luck. I still have the late season so we will see what happens!

well, if anyone is still keeping up on this i did make it out tonight. the wind was right the temps were bearable but the activity was minamal. i did walk by 2 does at about 10-15 yards on the way in. they stood there and watched me walk by. they must have thought that they weren't spotted. it would have been hard to see them if there wasnt' 8 inches of snow on the ground. kinda makes you wonder how many you walk by that you don't see.

anyhow saw 5 on stand nothing close. and for the record i am no longer holding my tag for a buck. a nice doe will fill my tag perfectly.

good luck and stay warm.

Well fellas, I'm sorry I couldn't make it out to hunt more than 2 times. That darn hurricane really screwed up my hunting this year![:@] I had to put repairing my house at the top of my priority list. Anyway, I apologize for not helping out more. I hope you all had a great season.
