I'm fine with that name even though I'm not up there huntinwith y'all.

My little scoutin trip went okay. Fellas, it was HOT, and thick. The area is only accessible by boat. Hurricane Rita didquite a numberto these woods, there were downed trees everywhere. We have to find a MUCH better place to park the boat.We marked a couple areas on a gps and even jumped a doe in an area that looks like a midday beddinig area. Overall i think the trip was successful but it will take another trip or two to narrow things down a bit.

BTW, Luckily we only saw one cottonmouth. I also stumbled right over a nest of ground hornets but luckily only got nailed once on the wrist.[:@]

I got seven stands hung this weekend and a couple groundblinds made. I wanted to get everything done but I have a few still to hang, the farms I am hunting are looking great. I have seen a couple deer out of velvet and saw three rubs this weekend as well. I wish I had some pics of gaggers to post but no such luck....but I do have pics of the worlds ugliest buck (check out his beak!)

...as well as a doe that has great genetics for the commercial milking biz (I would think it would catch on the brush??)....deer milk anyone?

I got a couple of decent buck pictures also, either one would make my season. I have got to know the 10 very well while glassing - but there is a 9 point I cannot ever get pics of that puts him to shame in the same area that I am really trying for.
