Well good luck magic and 8mm...and tx with the elk! I cannot wait till October - though I will be taking my younger brother out for youth season in the next couple weeks. Now that the weather is a decent temperature...bring on bow season!

Been checking the weather down here in Southern Indiana and they are calling for rain for an entire week. That sucks because season comes in on Mon 9/15. I have yet to scout two of my three properties that I can hunt but the first one looks GREAT and it always is. I still plan on hunting monday evening despite the rain. Hopefully things will work out!

I went out for a little cruise and there were deer on the move here. i had two fawns about 25 yards out the back garage door, 5 deer in the closest hayfield and another six in the adjacent field. all were does and fawns but one little forker. but they all get the blood flowing. as the year progresses they seem to show up more and more. opener this weekend but i am not sure if i will get out yet. by next weekend for sure.

pulled the cam and got nothing but alot of pics of the same Doe and alot of pics of a fresh velvet shed 4 pointer [:@]The battery went dead [:@]first sign of hard antler for me so far.
have seen no rubs yet.

well guys i went out last night seen 2 doe's an 2 lil 6's an a big ten shot at the ten an i missed lol happens i guess i was just happy to be able to be out truck is still broke down but it should be fixed today so i should be able to hunt all weekend good luck to every one
