I worked on some fall wildlife plots today, andthe 30% chance of showers got me soaked. Cooler temps are coming, and Ihope toget into a patch of oaks with good cover tomorrow afternoon where a v.nice buck is hanging out.

3 bucks showed up this evening, a spike and two forkies; all fed within 15 yds of my set up. I just watched them for 20 minutes...

Hey guys. I been out twice so far I've seen a ton of squirells 5 raccoons and 3 does. Last night I got a shot at a doe so i took it. I hit her in the shoulder tho. I knew i should have jus left her over night but i found good blood and part of my arrow so i trailed her for bout a hundred yards then pulled out. So far i found 2 pieces of my arrow so i think my muzzy lodged into her other shoulder. I think I'll find her pretty fast this morning as soon as it gets light. Hopefully next time I'm on I'll have some pics of her.

There she is only 15 yards from where i stopped tracking last night. weighed 125 lbs.

Still seeing lots of deer here every trip out, including anywhere from 4 to 8 bucks. I've only had a couple small ones within range so far and will pass up even a couple of the nicer ones in hopes of getting a chance at a particular dandy that I've seen 3 times in the last 10 days.

Well you got us on da board, Congrats on a great buck,should go in the mid 130's maybe huh! You get him scored yet? I had a young bull moose I called in twice tonight but kept getting scared off from the guy shooting geese 50 yards away from me with his shotgun. Ticked me off,the second time he came in from behind me and I didn't even know he was near till I heard the branch snap behind me. He was with in 70 yards then. Oh well,alawys next week huh! Good job Chris,hold your chin hi![8D]
