Sept 1 here, but I doubt I'll get any time in before I leave Sept 3 for my WY antelope hunt. I know that's not going to score any points for the team, but I'll post some pictures anyway.
Probably late archery in late Nov/early Dec will be my prime time.

Not a point of contention, per se....lol....but I have to ask this next question.
How many of you are gun hunters? Reason I ask is....this IS a bowhunting contest. I'm wondering who all will hang up their bows when gun season rolls around......whether they've scored with the bow, or not.
Just wondering.

I won't really be "hanging up" my bow though. Pennsylvania's bow season starts October first, then ends in early November. Gun season comes in at the end November and ends around December 10th.

Tennessee starts september 27.. i may get to hunt a quota and non quota hunt the week before that though... I gun hunt.. but tennessee has split seasons... where they open muzzleoader/archery then to gun back to M/A then back to gun... i will probably hunt most of the muzzleloader season with a bow though... for the simple fact that i spent way way too much not to this year and to help the team out of course

We have an early archery-only season Sept 1-9, then a late one Nov 25-Dec 10. IN between, firearms are open but you can still hunt with archery tackle if you want.
I usually hunt several days in the earlyarchery and a bunch in the late one. But in between I often go up north for moose and to another distant location for mule deer with rifle in between. It looks like that will be my pattern this year.
