On a good note I got all my food plots done,I might do a secondary plant in September but for now she is done. We got everything in the ground then it started raining and rained lightly for a day and a 1/2. I'll get some pictures next time I go up.
We saw a buck at the end of the day that I reconized right away. He was shot in 07 and we only had 3 pics of him last year. I hope this year he makes a come back.

Wow its been a while since ive got on here!
Jason- I'll be in northern Ontario august 13th-23rd. The elk hunt is still up in the air, lot of things will be going on in the next few years for me, graduating college, finding a job...yada yada yada. I hope I can get in a good out of stater before life takes over!

He was a good buck in 2007 but in 2008 he lost some spread and tine length. If you look at his back leg in the first pic you can see a bullet hole. Someone tried poaching him.

I hope this year he come back even stronger. I think I know where he is bedding and I have a tree already for a west wind.

Fellas, I shot some turkey hunting footage so far this spring. I put everything together in a neat little package. Check it out - on a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a3 on the amusement meter. LOL

Fran good vid.
For the holiday weekend I'm heading up to land to check on the plots and do some atving. I decided to plant some pumpkins and sweet corn in this 1 plot back in the NW corner of my land. I put this one in last year and it is right next to a bedding area. If I plant them know it will be good to go come season.
