Dan that truelly sucks about that buck. It is the worst feeling ever you just hope the buck lives to see another day. Good luck hope you get on something soon.
Jason It's been tough all over. Not alot moving. Keep it up Thursday and Friday look to be hot with the front moving in.

Sorry to hear about the buck man!! That just stinks! It probably won't make you feel any better but I've been in the same position as you before.... Very sick feeling for sure.
Odd on the no blood. I've shoulder hit deer before and usually there is a lot of blood (at least at first).... Just curious, what type of broadheads are you using?

Keep after it, another one is bound to come by....
So the deer are rutting pretty good down there in NE? Things appeared to have started up here, though most of the movement in my area has been masked by the crops - and I don't think things are 'full blown' yet.... At some point they gotta come out of the corn [8D]

Weather over this weekend and 1st part of next week looks decent. I'm close to my 9 days off (FOR HUNTING ONLY - lol). It's getting hard to concentrate on anything else at this point!!

You bet I'm ready to rock!! After my hunt last night, I have officially 'shut down' things in SD until after I get back from IA, since I wanted to make sure I could get all my hunting clothes washed and gear packed for the trip. Lot of stuff to do as I'm leaving tomorrow!! After all the prep and daydreaming about it, I can't believe it's hear!
