The third split of my season starts back up tomorrow the 15th and runs till the end of December. I will get out 3 more days and maybe a 4th if work doesn't get in the way. I was out in my hunting area last weekend hunting elk, archerydeer was closed for rifle season. My buddy and I had big bucks running all around us, guess they knew we couldn't shoot them.

Good luck to everyone who is still out there trying to fill a tag.

Congrats on the doe Jenna! I am glad to see that your season is turning around for you. I hope your luck continues and that you put a deer on the ground with your bow!

Way to go Jenna! Only a matter of time before you put one down with the bow.

It was a slow weekend here, saw one possible deer. I caught a flash of reddish brown and a flicker of white before whatever it was disappeared behind a cedar tree. We had good temps but brutal winds that had thempinned down.

Taking my last vacation day for the year next Monday, hoping for better weather then.

I'm lucky in that my friend is also my taxidermist, he charged me $500 for the pedistal mount. Helped that the pedistal its self was free!

Gettin' kind of quiet around here team. How many of you are still at it? I will be grinding it out until the bitter end (Jan. 15th.). Somethings gotta give with the bucks I have been seeing.

Good luck to those of you still at it!

Brett, I am back in Mexico and will be here till season is over....Well, actually we have a late doe and spike season that will still be open but I will be taking the oldest daughter to try and get her an animal.....

So,unfortunately my Buck hunting season is OVER...

The only good thing is that I let some good 3.5 and 4.5 deer walk this year in hopes of them becoming what we are looking for next year....Oh yeah and my father in law and myself booked a hunt in your neck of the woods.... Same place that Rob went this year, we are really excited about that for sure....
