I just want to thank you all for a very enjoyable hunting season with friendship, sportsmanship, and fun. I am sorry I never could "seal the deal" and contibute some points to the team, but I guess better luck next year. I did have a lot of really awesome encounters with Odocoileus Virginianus. Work is keeping me extremely busy now, go figure, May you all have a blessed New Year in these trying times. I will stop in from time to time especially if I find some good sheds in the coming months, Take Care Guys, Later, Z

2008-2009 Official Bowhunting Statistics:

95deer on44 hunts,28 does,32 fawns,14 bucks and22 unknown with3 Shots, 2 hits, 0 kills.

Yesterday when taking my stand down to move to the new area (I took down the stand i shot my doe out of) i saw between 5-8 (presumably) does skirting through the forest. While taking my stand out of the tree, i noticed a pair of deer nuts that somebody had put on my seat [:@], i think i know who the guy is too . On yesterdays hunt, i went deerless but did seeabout 100 turkeys in a flock feeding in the corn feild. I took some video, and will post it up once i edit it down. Imoved my double setup today back to my hay feild for the lastfew days, a buddy is coming out tommorow to hunt it with me (I also put my trail camera near the setup).

Speaking of buddies, the week after christmas i let a Charlotte North Carolina Fire Fighter who was visting some family in the area come out and do a few bowhunts. He ended up harvesting a nice doe on his 2nd trip out. We became good freinds and i look forward to hunting and fishiung with him in the future (I also found a great stand site for next year )

Ill be going out here in a few minutes for a evening bowhunt. Wish me luck!
