Well good luck. I will probably be back out Thursday. I am leaving today at 12:00 for a sporting clay's shoot. We do this every Veterans day, and it is always alot of fun!

not much chance to hunt today, temps in the low to mid thirties, which I can handle with no problem
it's suppose to rain all day, which I can't stand
don't mind cold, but hate to be wet and cold
I'll try again Friday, have to work tomorrow and Thursday

on a side note, from one vet to any others " Happy Veterans Day"

Thanks for putting the pic up for me Mitch! The funny thing about that buck is that he is the smallest of the big 3 that I know of in the area! I am going to attempt to get back out there before the weekend, but I'm not sure how easy that will be.

I managed to rattle up that half rack 1.5 year old again this morning. I also had a doe come in that acted weird. She walked down the path and started checking a scrape. I Pulled up my binos to see if she was a BB or not and after watching her for a few second she just ran. She didnt look at me, and the wind wasnt blowing her way, she just plain took off!
