Also, PA why didn't you remind me about my Dead Red? lol I forogt I had it stashed in my drawer until I was looking for an old grunt call this afternoon. I'm going to put out a mock scrape in a spot Sunday afternoon.

speaking of dead red, 2 weekends ago i had a little spike go up to scent wick with the dead red on it and lick it, im convinced it works, now that its the rut down here i cant wait to use it again!

Haha thats good to hear. I had a little doe hang out right where i put out some dead red for like 5 mins. I then used a drag with some blind date on it on saturday and had a 4pt come right down the trail. Seems to be working pretty good for me; however no shooters yet. The bucks that I had blew my chances with were on the opposite side of where I had the scent out. Go figure and they were up wind of the scent.

I got home in time to hunt this afternoon, and was getting everything ready when I remembered I still needed to vote. So I ran down to town, and by the time I got back it was to late to head out. Oh well, temps rose into the 80's here today.
I just may get out Thursday morning if I am lucky. They are calling for rain that day too, so it may not work out.
