I'll be going out to hang stands this weekend. I'll see what I can get. There is a camper on that land thats for sale. I want it bad! But theres another guy with first dibs. He has a nice camper out there but wants another for his two small kids. I REALLY hope he passes!

Hey guys! Sorry, i havent been on here for a while, i wasnt gettin my subscription emails...

Anyway, i had a close call on scoring with my second buck of the season last night. I know it doesnt count for the contest, but i think that i might have a chance at catching up with him tomorrow night. Unfortunately i had school tonight...Ill keep you all posted!

Greg, that is a perfect little camper!!! I wish I had something like that. I hunt about 4 hours from my house, so when we go we hunt out of tents. I'll tell you it can get pretty chilly in November.

Not that it matters for the team, but today Shawn and I scouted one of our farms that we usually save for the rut. We decided that since things were slow on some of our other places that we would check out the farm and see if the acorns were dropping. We went in there mid-day and found an area that was just getting hammered. Ive never seen so much deer sign. It looked likeafeed lot. We also found a really nice rub and a big scrape. I put a trail cam on the scrape so hopefully we will have pics of the guy using it in a few days when we go back to hunt.
