Very interesting situation actually...

We were hunting at an oufitter (who happens to be a really good friend of mine). Basically how these hunts work is they comp the hunt price in exchange for advertisement on TV. Since i didn't get my kill shot on video, we wont be able to use the whole hunt for the TV show...

I would have never shot the deer if we were at any other outfitter, but i knew my friend would not be mad that i shot it and even then, i still offered to pay for the hunt since i understood the situation when i made the decision to shoot the animal. Of course, he said I didn't need to pay for it and fortunately Jeff also shot a buck that evening. Since Jeff shot a buck and we got a ton of other footage, we will be able to make a good show out of it and I think that my friend (the outfitter) will be satisfied with how it turns out. If not, i am willing to pay him what i owe him for the hunt.

That's too bad, because I was looking forward to seeing your hunt. I'm sure you guys will put it together nicely and he will be more than satisfied.:)

I hope to eventually make a respectable amount of income from producing hunts for television however, i doubt i will ever ONLY hunt for a living.

I started a digital music company a few years back with one of my childhood friend' dad. It is currently my "day job". I am also finishing up school right now (Tuesday and Thursdays). Fortunately i have a very flexible work schedule which allows me plenty of time in the woods in the fall. After i graduate i will work full time till hunting season! ;)

We are a digital music subsciption company. Basically you use our media player to automattically load your MP3 player with pre-constructed play lists and organized music.
