Well it looks like WI is finally heading towards some normal temps next week so Ill be heading back out the woods then. been so damned warm this week, cant seem to get into it when its like this, so Ive been doing some fishing instead, they arent biting either, rivers low, waters warm, it sucks all the way around. Anyway it will be nioce to get ove of these upper 70s and Low 80s and get back to the normal of 60's for a high during the day and 40s at night. Im going to sit tomorrow morning and maybe tonight havent decided for sure yet on tonight, depends on the humidity come 4pm.

62 degrees here.......it was like 50 overnight. Of course it will go back up to like 95 degrees for the opener I'm sure.....always does.
I had to do some recon this morning and map out a back way into my first day stand because the cornfield I usually slip through to get there has been picked and picked SLOPPY!! There are busted up ears of corn all over the place and the tracks are a plenty.
Problem is that it ruins my normal approach so I had to find one where I wouldn't blow the feeding deer out of that field or I'd be done before I started.
So now I have a relatively level 1300 yard walk to the bottom side of the woodlot and I'm glad I figured it out now rather than 1st day in the dark because it was a pain in the butt beating down a skinny trail to get through the briars at the spot I need to access the woods.
I knew ehere I needed to go.........the problem was making a nice quiet entry point for next week.
Mission accomplished.

Just counting down the next 5 days until Saturday.........it rained here for about 48hrs straight over the weekend so I didn't get much shooting done.
The rest of this week will be spent practicing from my stool at my 3D target with the longbow.
I haven't shot too much sitting down so I'll focus on that all week heading into Saturday.
