Hey guys...its good to hear some of you are getting out in the woods!

I went out tonight to hang a very last minute stand, and I wasnt able to. There were 4 does in the corner of the field that I needed to cut through...and I didnt want to spook them. I sat and watched them for the rest of the night...man are they just like little kids! Mumma was playing with her two little ones chasing them back and forth across the field...juking and deeking them just like we do...

The coolest thing I saw was the mother doing some ballerina moves pirouretting in circles...sometimes 3 or 4 in a row...it was cool

I guess I will try to set up that stand tomorrow, but this time I will head out a little earlier. Any of you guys have any luck setting stands and hunting them in the same day?

3 more days till 1st day!!! seen 2 nice 8 pts crossingthe fieldtonight when i was driving past one of my spots.

Me hunt....Heck yea!...thats how i killed the one i got this year....aint nothin wrong with hunting a freshly hung stand as long as you dont make a ton of noise and stink the place up....

only about 33 hours and 15 minutes to wait till season here guys!!! lol, our earlier archery season ends in mid november but starts back up the day after christmas and goes for 2-3 weeks. Good luck guys

I get to hunt straight thru the end of December. I am planning on going out Friday after work, so I will let you know how it goes.
