Great job...I don't know how many bucks like that I have passed so far....warm weather has everything slowed down here as well....hopefully this weekend is the weekend....

Your first buck is the one that counts! I don't think you have any choice but to score him....I know that was the old rules, I just am not for sure about this year. But you should check.

I am going out the next five days. It should be really good. I have already passed up 4 does and 4 bucks the last two days I have went. The biggest being a decent bodied 6 point. But with the rut closing in I think the bigger bucks will start moving in the next couple of days. Well see how it goes. I will keep you posted.

Guys, tonight was the bow hunting story of my life. Second night out and I see a shooter. The problem was, he was about 70 yrds away. He was at least a big 8 but more than likely a 10 point. I don't think hepassed into the relm of huge, but he may have been close. He just was too far to get a real good look. He had construction orange fence wadded up in his left rack with about three feet hanging off. Who knows, maybe he will still have it next week and I get a look at him.
