RE: Offical Team 17 thread
Well I made it out for the opener and there wasn't much happening. Not sure if it was the weather or what but I only seen 1 small buck and 3 doe that were beded about 20 yards from my stand. Looks like I am going to wait until Wednesday to go out again, if the weather is good.

Here's a picture of me shooting my High Country last year before season opener. Basically I just wanted to get a fresh post to get us back up towards the top. As for the bow...thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Alot of money tied up in that bow. [&:]

Well I went out this afternoon for the opener here in Indiana. I thought it would be pretty good seeing how it dropped 20 degrees in two days. The only thing I saw was a real small doe. It was only like 70 degrees but when I got to my spot and climbed up i was sweating. The weather was nice once I cooled off though. And thanks to my Thermacell, no bug bites. If you guys don't have one and get bug bites when you go out, you definately need to get one they are awesome. So I might go sometime soon but I am really waiting for the weather to cool down a bit.

Yeah it was nice to finally get into the woods after many months of waiting. It should be a good year since last year sucked cause of the blue tongue disease that hit here in Indiana. The deer herd took a huge drop in numbers so hopefully their will be a lot of deer this year.
