I was hoping for some cool weather this weekend when I go hunting. But it is going to be really hot. The high is around 86 degrees. Hopefully it is cool enough in the morning to get the deer moving. Since it will be hot, I am going to hold out for a really good buck. Does are safe this weekend.

We are having cool mornings and evenings but warm through the day. Squirrel season starts tomorrow and its supposed to be 48 overnight, but 78 as a high. Alittle better Sunday, 52 overnight and only a high of 68. By Monday I should be getting a idea for temps on WV opener.

I'm dying to get into the woods here in WV......front comes through Friday dropping the temps from mid 80's to upper 60's, followed by Saturday(opening day) temps starting out around 40 degrees and never passing 55 degrees. Then another 40 degree night with a 60 degree day Sunday. Should be a stellar opener with the front and the coldest temps so far this fall.

I was kinda curious on some of the scores to...but figured someone else would point it out.
Tomorrow I get to scout a couple areas and Saturday is the big day. Two days of bowhunting here at home...can't wait.

Yeah, some of those scores seem to be a little inflated but maybe they are just bad pics or some other weird reason. Mine was scored pretty conservatively, if not I am sure I could have pushed 130+ out of it. Some of these guys have an inside spread that is no way measured correctly, inside spread means inside of your two main beams not tines or outside spread.
Oh well, we just need to shoot some deer and get on the board and see what happens.
