well i scored but we dont get no points for it... i shot a doe tonight... she was about 15 yards i placed the arrow a lil high think it would come out lower than it did but it didnt come out as low as i woulda liked... it was a perfect goin away shot i couldnt of placed her any better for the shot... she went about 60 yards... the blood trail wasnt as heavy as i woulda like either but all is good i found her.. i will post a pic later..the ol lady has it on her came an shes out on the town right now...

I guess the thread has slowed some since everyone has checked in and with the exception of a few is just waiting on opening day. I know it's been a killer drag these past couple weeks but next Saturday is opener in Ohio and I'll be a part of it.

Well my stuff is now staged. I dropped off my stand, bow and clothing in Md and will begin to hunt up there soon. I'm going there for work a week from Weds. I'll get sometime in the woods. My friend will be going to Canada that week so I think I'll sneak into a few of his stands and shoot the big ones he has spotted.

It looks like I'll be off to Ohio friday afternoon and will be on stand saturday morning and evening. Then I'll probaly hunt Sunday morning and head home. So if nothing else I hope to have some good pics from up there and if I get lucky we'll be on the board.

Just got off the phone with my friend. He doesn't go to Canada until the 4th, so we will be hunting next week. He also said he has plenty of stands hung all over the place and will set me up for when he is in Canada. So with that and a few of my own places, I don't see any reason why I won't be able to put one on the board in a few weeks.
