Well I've seen more bucks early this season then ever before cruisen within 100 yards from me. I think this may be the season I get my first mature whitetail buck. I have never shot anything 2.5+ . Check out the forecast for Michigan this week

I have every morning and evening to hunt until gun season starts on the 15th!!!! Looking real forward to this season.

Hey guys just checking in with only half a day left in our archery season i just came in for a bite to eat then will be heading back out. Last night i had a few close calls i rattled in 4 bucks and seen 5 in total 2 of which were shooters the biggest was in the 150-160 range at 70 yards and the other a 130 out around 100 yards out the big guy was chasing a doe and would not leave her, All this action started from 2:00 till dark i think the big dump of snow we got has really turn things on around here. Good luck guys i'll check in when i can my new job has me away from home till christmas looks like hunting season will end for me today.

Way to go ILL. I let us down on Friday night with a miss on a great 8. Saw three shooters that night, things are on the move here. I will get back on the horse.

GREAT BUCK!!!! CONGRATS!!! I need to shot something for the team on Monday. Its been a TUFF season for me!! I can tell you that. To close,to far or to small. That is a GREAT BUCK Ill Man!! Way to go!!!

ILL, congrats on a monster 8pt. What a hoss!
I haven't been on here in a couple days. Been hunting pretty hard the past 4 days. Missed on a 140" 10pt thursday evening and seen tons of little bucks over the weekend. Last night I had the big 8 that I have pics of come to within 50 yds, but turned around and started to scent check does in the cut corn field. I have a couple more days off this week and three weekends to hunt until the gun season rolls in.
