Anybody have any ideas on what our avatar could be. I know a couple people that could come up with something if I give them some kinda idea.

This might be a little weird, but I think A picture of a bunch of backstraps with arms and legs walking around. Would look funny.

Now....most importantly....whose season starts first?[8D]

August 30th!!! I'll be hunting next saturday morning! Cant wait...altho I have to admit, I'll be after elk more than deer. I'm heading out of town to an area that I've scouted and it's loaded with elk. I have a few spots that i baited up with minerals and i also found a few wallows, so hopefully we'll see some bulls.

That being said, just down the hill and only about a mile away from the wallows is a great ridge that is loaded with deer as well. When i was scouting last weekend i saw two real nice shooter bucks there that both just sat there and looked at me. both were tall and wide 3x3 mulies, we'll see if they are still around come next weekend with a bit more hunting pressure in the area.

Now, once I'm back home, thats another story...more deer here around the house than elk, but we do see both often. Also i have a number of treestands that are close to home that i can hunt before and after work.

Sweet Jager. I don't get to ramp up until Oct 4th. I have all but two stands hung. It's just about all I can take to make this last month go by.

The only thing that I can think of for an avatar is a little animated guy with a bow and a knife, licking his lips.

My season starts on Monday!!!!

Well i finally made it to check in been workin out of town, monday is the start of our season, deer in the morning bear at night for two days then back to work
