Just got back from the hunt. Saw more mosquitoes than anything else.
Right as I was getting ready to leave, I look around, can't see anything, start walking out, still nothing, I stand there a few minutes, as smart as i am I start rocking from side to side to keep the mosquitoes off me, then, I hear a deer snort! DAMNIT!!! during the whole hunt I kept wishing I had a Thermacell to keep the bugs away and right at that moment I decided next time I go to the city I'll pick one up. Can't afford to keep ruining hunts because of the mosquitoes.

Anyways. Hopefully tomorrow I will get more luck.

heya guys, just checkin in before i leave in the morning. have about a 4 to 5 hour drive in front of us tomorrow. when we get to the area we are hunting, were gonna scoutout our spots and make a plan for saturday morning. then be up, out of camp and hopefully in a good tree before daylight come opening morning(saturday). I won't be back till monday evening but i'll try to get online and give a report on the hunt then.

I got my dad to pick me up a thermacell while he was in the city today, and WOW!!! NO MOSQUITOES!!
I didn't see any deer but I did see a bat flying over me for a while!

I can't let us drop to the second page!
