Well, I justgot off the phone with aneighbor of mine. He has 300 acres and it's located only 1/4 mile from my house. I called him to ask if I could come over and sight in my new muzzleloader and rifle, and he asked if I was still interested in joining the club. $125.00. That's the price. I may be pushing my limits here, but I'm going to go ahead and get in on this one too. That will give me 840 acres on one TN lease, 300 inthis one, and 530 acres in Arkansas. The nice thing about this one is that I can hunt it without even having to start the truck. I can just jump on the four wheeler and be there in two minutes.

Gotta like thatset up LittleChief. I love living and hunting in the west, but I gotta drive at least 30 minutes to hunt any big game. Of course, that includes a nice selection of big game.

I jut checked the weather in the mtns. for Thursday through Sunday, and it looks like upper 30's at night and lower 60's for day highs. A little warm yet, but should still have/hear action in the mornings and evenings. I'm designated cameraman to start with, SO my chances of getting to be shooter this week, aren't real good. I don't really mind, as long as we have action, and someone scores, I'll get some meat. Hope to have some good pics. after next weekend.

Hunt club sounds like a cool deal...

Well I got out hunting today (Mon) for goose, What a great time... we had a great field to sit in and we had 8-9 flocks of geese come in. I suck at shooting birds so I got a big ol Zero for geese. But my 11 yr old got his first goose.. it was cool. This sure has taken off the edge to get out and hunting.. I am ready for deer season, I just need to get some goose first..
Season opens Oct. 1st for me. I will not be hitting it hard untill the end of Oct. for the antlered boys.
