RE: Official Team 16 Thread
Well, I have some bad news on the homefront, The limbs for my bow will not even be shipped to the shop for at least another2 weeks. Then it might take a week for the guys at the shop to put them on. That would be cutting only 3 weeks of practice till my season starts. I really dont want to buy a new bow right now because the 09's are coming out very shortly.

I have 18 days here till the season opens. I hunt mostly public land here in MD, but have a couple hundred private acres to hunt in PA where i grew up. I do a majority of my Bow hunting here on the Eastern Shore of MD. I have documented4 good deer right here by the house and have access to a 2000 acre tract and a 7000 acre tract of public land which are 15 and 20 mins from the house. I also have an excellent 8 mile island which is public land but limited to bowhunting only and 25 people per day maximum which is between my house and work and hunt it prob 3-5 days a week either in the am or pm depending on my work schedule. The island is off of the Chesapeake Bay and has alot of agricultural fields that are leased out to farmers. The deer there eat well and arent really pressured. It holds some fantastic deer

Bowtech360, it shouldn't take more than an hour, even two to put new limbs on your bow. Put some pressure on the shop to get them on ASAP for you!! 3 weeks should be plenty of time to practice enough to be ready.
Sounds like some promising days ahead whacker. SO many places to hunt, but so little time to do it all!! What a problem to have!

Hey Wacker have you ever hunted those seka deer [by now you know I can't spell] I would love to have one in my colletion.I was looking at an az. couse deer for 2009 just for a change. Hey 360 tell them you will pay for overnight shipping and be at the shop leaning on the counter every chance you have. Or sould I say call thier pluff.I started packing for the trip today .I wander how I made it with out all this equipment when I started doing this in the early 80s.

Dayna I have hunted the (SIKA) deer. they're elusive little marsh rabbits. I have seen many but they have either been to far or in the reeds. where they live there aren't many trees so bowhunting them is difficult. 2 guys I work and hunt with killed last year during the gun seasons. One of the hinds went 17lbs, and a 6 pt stag (as big as this breed gets) weighed 115. So you can see they are pretty small in size and they really hide in the reeds in the marshes where they live

Hi Guys,
I'm still working on my primary bow. I ordered custom strings and cables and they were too short. I've been messin' with it for 2 days in the little bit of spare time I have.
I don't have muck time left. Good thing I have a backup.

Sorry I havent been on much, Was learning a ton about engines/turbo/racing. MY cousin picked up a Honda Civic with, after many test, blown rings on a piston. Got to break the whole engine down. So if any of you guys puta turbo in a car, you have to replace the rings, pistons, rods, and valves if you want to do it right.
