WHAT HAPPENDED?!?!?!? story

two lanes north two lanes south. were were northbound in the right lane when we passed a convenience store where someone is always selling drugs at when i saw a guy look at us pull a gun out of his waist band drop it in to a parked car and start to run westbound. I had to cut across the other n/b lane and both s/b lanes to get to him. I cleared the southbound lanes and thought i cleared the laned next to me so when i did the uturn i got hit by a guy in the lane next to me, pretty hard. needless to say the guy we were going after got away along with the car he tossed it into.

I guess there are quite a few things that worked out in my favor that night....lol i have to go to the med section today and get my duty restriction lifted. People are creatures of habit. he'll be back there and ill come from a different way this time....lol.

We are 12 hours 7p to 7a right now. the area we are working had 475 b&e's and 96 street robberies last month so they have us working prime crime hours. I hope you held off on eating lunch until you were out of that area.....lol
